About Theon, TX
Theon, Texas is a small unincorporated community located in north central Williamson County, situated 31 miles north of Austin. The community was settled after 1880 by German and Slavic immigrants and was initially known as Behrnville, named after pioneer H.T. Behrens. It was also called Leubner for William Leubner, another early settler. The community was later renamed Theon, though the reason for this name change is not clear from the available sources.
